Tips for maintaining a motor boat

Alarm indicators. Do not ignore dashboard indicators because they can warn of future problems. The thermostat in the correct position. It is a common mistake to install the engine thermostat with sensor outward, so if the engine overheats, you'll learn when you start the engine out smoke.
Listen to your engine. A sharp noise can indicate that a belt is loose. Metallic and pace of engine speed taps may mean there is a problem with valves, elevators or rocker arms.
